The Story
050822 - Today, we walk around town. We did miss the mountains as it is so much cooler there. My boyfriend was constantly suggesting to take the cable car up to the mountains but our friend decided to go around town. I agreed with exploring town. For breakfast, we went back to our usual Vital Coffee cafe and had breakfast like the other Italians - croissant. Swedes are not used to eating sweet stuff for breakfast and they found it weird eating croissants and buns that have chocolate fillings.

After breakfast, we gradually made our way to the nearest wine tasting vineyard and we passed by a small market. I think these are meant for tourists.

The nearest wine tasting shop. Unfortunately, we missed one day earlier to visit the vine yard. One has to make reservations to visit the vineyard. It was my first time with wine tasting and we are allowed to try 5 different wines. I could only manage 4 glasses. We could pour away the wine if we could not finish it.

The staff who explained to us about the wine, the type of grapes used and the good soil that the places has to offer.

These are the wines we tasted. We bought two bottles back to Sweden. The Muller Thurgau 750ml for EUR9,80 and Pinot Bianco Carnol 750ml for EUR12,50. Before purchasing them, we checked in the Systembolaget's website to make sure the wines are not available in Sweden. Systembolaget is the country's state-owned monopolized alcohol store.

Time for lunch! We stopped at a famous bruschetta stall. It was very crowded. The bruschetta is so good. The tomatoes were so juicy and tasted so fresh.

When we left the place, we felt hot and stopped for ice-cream. It is really so hot that being under the sun for 5 minutes is unbearable. By the way, the ice-cream melted really fast.

Then, we went back to the Airbnb to take a shower and rest for a while. We made our way out around 4.30pm to have coffee, some drinks and then dinner. Here is me and my tiny cup of Espresso - drink like an Italian. Espresso is the real coffee for them.

We stopped at a bar that has a giant fan that sprays cold water while we had drinks and we were given complimentary cheese and snacks.

Dinner place - here, I got myself some carbonara. The real thing, according to my boyfriend. For me, it was not much of a big deal but their tiramisu was really good!
