27042014 - Guess how I spent this one fine weekend. I bought a Groupon Voucher for a Waterball activity. My sister said it is zorbing. Well, I have no idea if there is a difference. Anyway, I bought this voucher for RM18 for 20 minutes for 1 person. So, 2 persons is RM36. Honestly, 10 minutes is sufficient. But I was greedy. I bought 20 minutes, afraid 10 minutes is too short. I dragged my sister along, the first person I always think of whenever I want to do activities. If she can't, then I have to text a bunch of people, or I just go alone. Haha.
This Waterball activity is held in Taman Tasik Titiwangsa, Kuala Lumpur. You cannot miss the sign. Organised by Unexs. We drove there early, and was early. Duh. So, we walked around the lake for a morning exercise. At 9am, the staff came and put up the banners, pump up the balls and bounce them in the lake. We queued up and gave the voucher.
My sister went in first. One has to take off the shoes to prevent anything from poking the balloon. When the staff open up the zip, my sister went in, and the staff pump back the air with some air freshener. The staff rolls the ball off the mini jetty and plops, she falls into the water. It was a pretty exciting feeling to plop into the water. We even attempted selfies in the ball. I tried standing in the ball, but I kept falling. Soon, I got tired moving around, and laid in the ball. It is very hot and stuffy inside too. The air underwent condensation, and soon, I was sweating inside the ball. Hence, why I said 10 minutes is very sufficient.
It was a relief once I stepped out from the ball! Great experience to "lie" on the water.
