The Story
30072023: Today, we check out from Zakopane. First, breakfast as check-out time is at 11am. I took the opportunity to have my photo taken on the bridge in town as there was no one around yet.

We walked in into a random cafe which is opened. I had toasted sourdough bread with poached egg and spinach and asparagus.

Then, we walked around town until check-out time to collect our backpacks. I saw a local bus that goes to Morskie Oko, the largest lake in Tatra mountains. It is a tourist attraction.

For lunch, I had zurek soup and my boyfriend had zurek soup in bread. Gosh, that was really filing to have it in soup. The bread was thick and he could not finish the bread. One needs to be really hungry to select this.

Then, we went to the train station to board our train to Krakow. It was comfortable in the second class and there was a restaurant carriage too so we could buy water on the train.

We arrived Krakow as scheduled and it took us 17 minutes only to walk to our Airbnb. I found an affordable apartment in Old Town. It was very spacious for the three of us. It can accommodate six persons. Also, this is the first Airbnb ever that I have stayed with a washing machine that has functions in English! So, I did not need to translate it and could easily select the options.

After checking out, we went to Old Town which is right outside our door and looked for a restaurant to have dinner. Of course, being in Old Town, meal prices are expensive.

There were many horse carriages ready to bring tourists around town.

Our restaurant. Somehow, I do not have the photo of my food. I am surprised that I did not take any photo or I deleted the photo accidentally.

After dinner, we treated ourselves to ice-cream.

We walked around town and saw a bright signboard which we could not interpret its meaning. So, we decided to go in as my friends thought it is a bar to have beer, As we made our way through a small walkway which was dodgy to me, a lady behind us stopped us and said that it is a strip club. We turned back and made our way to the bar across the street that has the cheapest ever beer. 500ml for PLN10! We sat by the window and saw the lady stopping single man to invite them to the strip club but none of them entered. I guess we were not suitable customers because I was in the group. Oh well. :)
