Maliau Basin : Part 7 - Day 5 : Seafood Noodles in Tawau Town

10072016 : Today afternoon, we fly back to Kuala Lumpur. In the morning, we had a walk to enjoy a bit of sea breeze and to have seafood noodles for breakfast!

The stall that sold seafood noodles was located close to Heritage Hotel. It is called 1st Drink & Food Centre. We took 3 plates of dim sum. I am not sure of the price, but that plate of seafood noodles is RM8 and we ordered 3 plates. The portion is so huge. It was so worth the price!

Then, we proceeded to have another round of breakfast at Aladin Noodle House which is a walking distance too. This one - the noodles are pricey and that goes without saying for its drinks too. My dry curry noodles cost RM7.50 and the 3-layered tea costs RM3.70. Was it exceptionally delicious? Nah, Nothing out of the ordinary.

We took the same 4WD back to the airport, and we paid RM20 each as it is not part of the package. Some of my friends took the local taxi which is cheaper. I think a taxi ride costs RM50 per car.

To end my post, I would most definitely recommend you to go to Maliau Basin. Go before it becomes commercialised. Go before the waterfalls become polluted from the humans' actions who cannot appreciate nature. And most of all, go before the prices increase.
