Teluk Intan : Menara Condong

19042015 : One fine week, I went to Teluk Intan (located in Perak) for work. It is a 2-hours drive to reach to the highway exit (from KL) but another hour to Teluk Intan. I went a day earlier, and was there on a Sunday. So, my friend and I decided to explore the area and went to the must-see Menara Condong Teluk Intan which is also the Leaning Tower of Teluk Intan.

This tower houses a water tank at the top to supply water to the people. It was also used to tell time and serve as a beacon to guide ship into Teluk Anson Port. This tower that look like a 8-storey is actually 3-storey high. Copied all these from the signboard in front of the tower.

We stayed on till evening because there was a light show at the tower that displayed 4 different colours.

Yes, the end of the post.

The red colour makes it look like it is a piece of glowing iron. Very nice!
