Bukit Setia : Border of Shah Alam and Klang

11042015 : One hot morning, I went for a short trek with a group of friends to Bukit Setia. This place is located close to Setia City Mall and has a height of 236m (I think). I don't remember the way to get here but we parked our cars next to a huge plot of empty land. And construction was still ongoing for residential areas. We walked across the empty land and stopped at a lake.

Close to the lake is the starting point of the trek. I was told that the trail takes 45 minutes. Well, it took longer for us because we stopped to take photos. The trail is not a difficult one. We walked slowly and everyone could keep up with the pace. But be warned, there are endless supplies of mosquitoes. I got bitten at my legs despite the long pants. It has been a long time since I encountered mosquitoes in a jungle. There were lots of dry leaves to help with the breeding of mosquitoes.

At the peak of the hill, all the states' flags and Malaysian flag can be seen. I am amazed as this is my first time I see the flags on top of any hill. Thankfully, there were no mosquitoes at the peak of the hill. There was a small hut where we gathered to have our food. There were benches and a table.

And ta-da, the border. On your left, is Klang town while on the right is Shah Alam town.

And I take the view of Shah Alam town from the hut.

Going back uses the same route.

Take your own risk for the mosquitoes. It has been a good experience, nonetheless.
