Inside the Outdoor Nursery, one is able to see how the staff bring the Orang Utan out to be fed and when the food is served, the other Orang Utan can smell and was seen swinging from the rope towards the platform.
At close to 3pm, I left the Outdoor Nursery and went to the feeding area. I got myself a spot in front of the platform. We were advised not to make noises while the monkeys were being fed, as the monkeys will flee if too noisy. Guess what was making the most noise - the camera clicks from everywhere! Gosh, I wished so badly the tourists would choose the option to silent their cameras! Unfortunately, my handphone could not snap very clear photos. But luck was on my side when 2 Orang Utan came towards the audience and swing in front of me. And all of us follow both of the monkeys. They were so close that I managed to take very up-close-and-personal photos. The photos are at the bottom. The 2 Danish girls that I shared my room with did not have such opportunity when they went the day before.
Definitely a RM5 well spent. Tomorrow - Labuk Bay Proboscis Monkey!
