Wall Climbing - Challenging the Body

14032014 - My diving friends suggested to do wall climbing, and I totally agreed. I have never wall-climbed before. I only did rock climbing once, and it killed my arms and legs. I never did any climbing since then. Today, we went to Putrajaya Challenge Park to do wall climbing. It is a huge place. I did not see many people which was very surprising considering it is a Friday. But I see a lot of shirtless guys which are very sculpted. I was in awe of their toned body. I wonder if I can be as toned if I do wall climbing. I rented a size 6 shoes, and my friends and I shared the harness. 




 



This is one of the guys that worked in the office, and he briefed us on wall climbing. I was the first to climb up. I almost gave up at 3/4 but the guy told me to keep going. And I succeeded! I did 2.5 climbs. On the third climb, my arms have given up on me and my legs could not straighten themselves. I could feel myself stronger than I did the rock climbing a year back. Swimming and yoga does help, although a slow progress.
