Terengganu : Part 3 - Morning Walk at Long Beach

09082013 - Since it rained the night before, I was very sure that it will be a cloud-less sky the next day. I woke up at 645am wanting to catch the sunrise. It was cloudy as I stepped out from my room. At 7am, we waited. I was hoping the clouds will clear away. But it remained cloudy. My sisters were more interested in snapping photos of a crab. They got excited when they saw crabs scurrying down the beach. 

The only hint of sunrise that was available. But no worries, we still have another day to see the sunrise.

After waiting for so long for the sunrise that never showed itself, we walked along the beach to the other end. There were a few joggers on the beach, and some who chose to walk just like us.

At the end of the beach, there was a long platform where boats can stop. And save the RM2 water taxi fee. Maybe this is only for the tourists that come way early in the morning. The taxi-man is not awake yet? Anyway, it is a sort of income for them too. They are being innovative. Have to give them some credit for creating the income opportunity.

After the walk, we were really hungry. Next plan - to get breakfast. We chose to have breakfast at D' Rock Restaurant. The restaurant was messy from the night before. The staff was taking down orders and yet to clean the place. So, I requested for a dishcloth to wipe the table. And there, I earned another name from my sisters - Maria to match my attire.

For breakfast, each of us ordered the D' Rock Breakfast Set which comes with a drink of teh tarik. Each set costs RM10. The drink was not as diluted as yesterday. There is a slight improvement. It was 10am when our breakfast came. I personally requested for my breakfast to come before 1030am, because I have booked my snorkelling trip and we have to gather at 1030am. I was trying to eat quickly to allow my food to be digested because I am very afraid that I may throw up. Bad experience from Redang trip.

At 1030am, I went to the snorkelling booth. There were many people gathered. It was just me, the one without any partners on the trip. My sisters did not join. But I did not mind. I was still going to have fun!
