Trick Art Museum : Posers Required

The Standard Chartered Marathon 2013 has been postponed from 30 June to 29 September, due to the haze that 'clouded' Malaysia for a few weeks. But we are haze-free now. I was disappointed when I read the news. First, I won't be able to participate then. Second, I trained really hard for it. I suffered numerous stomach cramps, had an episode of vomit and falling sick right after my training, both independent events, but really showed how much I trained. Anyway, I am going to keep training to ensure I can still participate next year. I am not going to give up. I hate you, haze.

06072013: Today, I asked my sister to join me to visit the soon-to-be-famous Trick Art Museum in I-City, Shah Alam. The last time I went to I-City was in July 2011. Many things have changed since then, especially on the parking. It was RM1 per hour. Quite expensive considering that I-City is being developed into a Theme Park, and many hours would be spent there. Currently, not much visitors. The landscape looks different today. From the carpark, there were directions to the places in the Theme Park.

Here is a map of how I-City looks like. So, we looked for Trick Art Museum. It is the one with the Gorilla face. Can you see it? It was very near from where we stood.

We have to purchase tickets to enter inside the Museum. Super expensive at RM10 per person. Previously, it was free, and then I read somewhere that it was RM5, and now RM10. I guess with the unique attraction, this place will definitely garner a lot of visitors. Probably the price may increase soon. So, the ticket is a card system, where the card costs RM3 and is valid for 2 years and can be used for all the attractions in the Theme Park. Since we are only going to the museum, we topped up RM20 into the card.

Oh yeah, here are the prices of each attraction.

The staff at the entrance sweeps out a fancy reader that deducts the value of RM20 from the card.

And here I enter the Trick Art Museum. Korea and Japan has a similar one too. The museum is spacious with lots of drawings inside, that encourages visitors to pose with the drawings. Scroll further down and you can see what I am talking about. I let my photos speak for themselves. If you have no ideas on how to pose, there are photos stick to the wall which gives you an idea on what to do.

This is suppose to be a mirror. Everyone seems to be doing a similar pose of my first photo. So, I decided to be creative and do the second one. I have not seen anyone done the second pose before.

The rocks are actually drawn on the floor and the blue sky on the wall. So, we have to lie down and do some rock-climbing pose.

This area is closed for some reason I don't know.

We spent 2 hours here. And that is because we posed with every single drawing. If you have more people in the group, you can expect to spend more than 2 hours.
