It has been some time since I wrote. Well, I was caught up with learning a new skill - cooking. Careful with the eyes. It may pop out if it is bulged too much. Yes, I have not been much of a domestic goddess. But for 10 days, I underwent an intensive cooking course. I bought chicken and fish - my very first time. I cleaned the chicken and fish. I removed the fat from the chicken - I called it aktiviti mencarigali minyak (oil digging activity). I fillet the fish. I added colours to my cooking i.e. adding yellow corn and green leafy vegetables, adding green pepper to red tomato sauce. You get the idea now. I did chicken soup twice - the first time tasted like carrot, the second time tasted like corn. I did red bean syrup - the first time it burnt a bit, the second time was excellent. My colleagues still find it hard to believe that I can cook.
I digress from the post of the day.
25112012 - I bought a Groupon voucher to fly via Aerochute for my sister's birthday. I bought a 2-person coupon because it was cheaper. RM170 per person to fly for 15 minutes. I was very excited when I bought this voucher, because I am going to fly into the skies! The location to go to was Pulau Indah which was at Port Klang Free Zone. There was a video on the directions provided by the owner and so, I did not get lost. I would recommend this exciting activity, plus it is safe too. The pilot i.e. the owner briefed us on the safety steps. The person to contact - Goh Chee Keong / 0147367838. He has the license to fly. The lowest he can give is RM150. Maybe if you go in a bigger group i.e. more than 10 people, it can go much lower.
On the day I flew, I had hoped that it will be sunny. It definitely was a gorgeous day. The skies were not too cloudy.
His crew members comprise of 3 persons including him. He is the pilot. There are 2 members that help him to pull out the parachute.
I believe my photos will explain everything to you.
The guy in red helps to start the aerochute by turning the fan behind.
And this is how the view is from the top.
I was not scared when I was up in the skies. It got a bit boring after 10 minutes. I guess, because we were circling the same location. The pilot told that he did go through the clouds before. It would have been exciting to fly into the clouds. Unfortunately, the clouds were too high up that day.
It is definitely worth trying for that one time.
