February Blues

I am sorry I have not written much on my travels in February. I seem so consistent previously, and I think I just lost the spark in writing. I have not idea what have gotten into me. I am sure I will be writing one soon.

So, as a consolation to my readers, here is a photo of the Chinese New Year card I made this year. I wanted to make a snake from wire, but it looks awful. It was an awesome snake in my head. I guess these hands of mine have not reached that creative level yet.

What do you think? I twisted the wire making the characters "Xin Nian Kuai Le" i.e. Happy Chinese New Year in Mandarin. I stick it on tape and sprinkled gold dust on it. I guess that is the best I can offer for a Chinese New Year card. Fine, I know. It is nothing special. But I love it!
