We departed right after lunch at about 1pm, and was headed back to north. On the way, we stopped at UK Agro Farm. It was about 2 hours drive. Pretty near, actually. This place is located in Kluang, another district in the state of Johore. The road to UK Agro Farm from the first signboard we saw was pretty long.
It costs RM50 for the entrance fee. The package includes - going to feedstock processing factory, goat pens, herb sanctuary, ostrich park, Jakun Village, fruit farm, baby goat feeding, nursery, mushroom and vegetable farm. The whole tour took about 3 hours. There was a bus provided by the Farm that brings the customers around.
Feedstock processing factory. Explaination in Mandarin + My Personal Failure in Mandarin = No understanding.
Herb Farm.
Ostrich Farm.
Jakun Village where there was a demonstration on how to use a blowpipe dart to strike a fruit down.
Fruit farm where they planted grapes and passion fruit. Small grapes. Not so many grapes. Big passion fruits. Many passion fruits. Apparently, goat's poo are good as fertiliser for passions fruits. Hence, the abundance of passion fruits in the farm. There were pots of cactus plants.
In the fruit farm, they were selling passion fruit drinks processed from the factory in the farm. Also sold goat milk's produce like shower foam, and goat milk.
Sheep herding activity. There was a sheepdog that circled all the sheeps back into the pen.
Finally, the mushroom and vegetable farm. I was tired by then because it was so hot. They gave us some mushroom snacks.
The only thing I love about the farm is the swing in the mushroom and vegetable farm.
Then, we were on our way back to Kuala Lumpur. It was definitely a weekend nicely spent.
