The Story
20042019: Today, we head back to Stockholm. For breakfast, my friend prepared bacon, half boiled eggs, strawberries, yogurt, bread with cream cheese and tea.

For lunch, we headed to Lido Restaurant, a local restaurant with many chains around Riga. It is a 'pay-what-you-take' concept. All the prices are stated next to the food.

I had sour cabbage and pancake with minced meat fillings and a glass of kefir (with tomato and basil) drink. They look the same from inside.

We walked back to the harbour using the same route as we did from the harbour to the AirBnb. We detoured into the Russian Orthodox Church. No photos were allowed.

Here we are, back at the harbour again. We checked into our cabins and I took a walk on the deck to say goodbye to Riga. B-class cabin looks fancier with a television, mirror and white curtains.

For dinner, my friend chose the Russian restaurant on the ship. I chose pumpkin steak which was very crunchy whereas my friends chose Russian dumplings.

Appetizers were complimentary - sour cream with honey and pickled cucumber.

We tried one of the caviar - vendace roe that came with chives, onion and sour cream, and blinis . Blinis are yeasted pancakes, traditionally from Russia, and made from buckwheat flour and served with caviar.

We arrived at the harbour in Stockholm the next day at 11am. It was a short holiday but I enjoyed the time spent with my friends.

Here are the list of places I went. You can click on the link and be directed to the posts immediately.

Day 3 - Lido Restaurant, ferry ride back to Stockholm (this post)

I have mentioned some of my expenses in each post. But for total and different category of expenses, I will sum it here.

1) Ferry ride (with cabins) - SEK1345
2) Accommodation (AirBnb) - SEK197.30
3) Food - SEK1,204.64
4) Entrance fee - EUR6 / SEK64.14
5) Grocery - EUR12.50 / SEK133.62

Total Cost for the trip SEK2,944.70 / RM1,278.90. I agree, it is an expensive trip for 4 days, 3 nights. Despite that, there were a couple of first time for me - stay in an AirBnb during a trip and eat in a fine-dining restaurant. Lovely country, nevertheless.
