That evening, the dark clouds begin to roll in. My instructor said if it rains by 7pm, we are aborting the night dive. I was NOOOO... And it rained by 6pm. It drizzled by 7pm. My dive instructor was contemplating to not dive. Finally she agreed. The torch light during the night dive is super powerful. Hence, one not allowed to shine at anyone's eyes. I saw sleeping fishes and a stingray. Plus a crab that look like corals.
061014 - Another cloudy morning. Today, let's go Deep Diving! Now, one has to be cautious on their level of oxygen, as more oxygen is used up during Deep Diving. On a usual dive which takes 50 minutes underwater, we can only spend 30 minutes in Deep Diving as one need to do a 3 minute safety stop.
I present to you my equipment I used. I left my booties in the resort. It was a good pair of booties. It kept me so warm. I need to get another pair. The fins, mask and snorkel are mine.
I missed my sister during the course. But I am glad I got her the license. So, now we are both Advanced Open Water Divers. It was difficult being here without her.
After our deep dive, we did a leisure dive and you can see the photos in my next post. In the afternoon, I walked around the beach and saw a nice prop which I did not see before in my initial visit.
In the evening, my roommate treated me to a bowl of ABC (Ais Batu Campur) which means mixed ice. It is shaved ice with fillings of red beans, peanuts, jelly, condensed milk, and syrup. A bowl costs RM5. This stall is just opposite our resort. We also had a plate of fried sausages from the next stall.
The view at night. Check out the moon. It was going to be a full moon in 2 days. Look how brightly lit the prop is. It is beautiful.
At night, there was a live music session in front of our resort. The singers made jokes about diving. It was pretty funny. The next day, starts my drive back and I did a little exploration along the alleys of Chinatown.
