Free Diving : Certified AIDA 2 Pool Freediver

15062014 - I am so happy to announce that I have passed my fining skills in my freediving, and I am now a certified AIDA 2 Pool Free Diver. Note, it is just the pool and not the open water. Well, I am hoping to test for the open waters soon. But monies is always a constraint. There are not much photos of me in action. But I have me holding my certificate. Since then, I have been frequenting the deep pool in Shah Alam where I practise on my duck dive, dolphin move and twirling in the waters. My friend commented that I am still stiff. Well, I have always been a slow learner. In almost everything I do. :-)

Last night, I watched a video on Haenyeo, and I am so amazed at them. They are the female freedivers of Jeju Island in Korea and they pick sea urchins and sell them for a living. One lady was as old as 81 years old she looks like she was in her 50s. She was still sturdy and strong. One thing for sure - diving keeps you young.
