Out from Han Market, we walked randomly to see the night life. There was a park with awesome marble sculptures. There are so many of them that some of them looks pretty scary. I was afraid that one of them will open their eyes or maybe smile at me.
From the park, we could see the bridge which lights up in different colours. I stood there to snap the different colours. The one in Putrajaya pales in comparison.
This is a good place for a date too. Can you see the couple?
Across the park, we saw a mall, and decided to visit the Food Court. Yeah, big appetite during the holidays.
No, we did not eat anything in the Food Court. We just saw there and look at the night scenery from the windows. I snapped photos of food that people ordered. Haha! I was so keen on the spring roll, because after all, that is one of the must-have food in Vietnam. My friends told me not to worry because we would be having some tomorrow.
Later, we walked back to our Hotel. That was my first encounter with brightly-lit lanterns in Vietnam. I saw them hanging from the tree. Pretty sight.
On the way back, we stopped at a cafe to have beer. It was told that beer in Vietnam is cheap. I read in a website that since there is not much of activities to do for the locals, they drink a lot. So, beer is cheap. Their stools are very short and it reminds me kid's chair. But it is wide enough for the adults.
We had the local beer. VND15,000 (RM2.30 / USD0.75). Beer is so cheap in Vietnam, it is cheaper than water or avocado drink we had earlier. And we ate the shredded pork with beer. Good combination!
Tomorrow, we are headed for Hue (pronounced as 'who-where'). Initially, it was not part of our itinerary because someone told my friend that there is not much to see except for historical places. Then, another friend wanted to go because we were already here in Da Nang, and it is nearby. Finished with beer, we went online to look for the train ticket price and the place to stay.
