Butterfly Park & Islamic Arts Museum

Completed with Deer Park and National Monument, I wandered around and saw Butterfly Park! I heard that it was a nice place to step into. I imagined there will be lots of butterflies around me. It cost me RM10 to enter because I am a Malaysian citizen. The price is twice for a foreigner. Considering this being a year ago, the price may have increased.

Upon purchase of tickets, I walked down the steps and saw a curtain of chains hanging at the entrance. Definitely needed to prevent the butterflies from flying out. Upon stepping in, I saw lots of flowers. And saw butterflies flying above me. Happy! The landscape inside the park is pretty with ponds, and short bridges.

Then, a butterfly perched on my shoulder! I was so excited. I tried my very best to snap the best angle.

I finished walking around the park in 30 minutes. I think I walked around the area twice. It is not a very big park. I would call it a Butterfly Cage instead. Then, it was a walk inside the Exhibition Room.

20 minutes later, I found myself in front of Islamic Arts Museum. It costs RM12 for the entrance fee. I asked them if there was a difference for the locals, and there were none. I love the miniature mosques inside the museum. There were explanations on the different structures of the mosques.

I left the Museum after about an hour and a half. It had been a long day. But it has been very educational. I wished I could said that I remembered any bits of information that I have read, but unfortunately, none of them are stored. I can say, though, that it's good to pay a visit to these places at least once to understand our country, and to explain to anyone any places worth visiting.
