Red, Loud, Bright!

Chinese New Year is coming! It's on Jan 23rd and 24th! From where I am staying now, I could not sense much of the Chinese New Year mood. It was sad! Till I go to a shopping mall near my work place and I could hear the much-missed Chinese New Year songs. It brings back good memories when my siblings and I were still in our school days.

So, it's tradition that every year, I make a Chinese New Year card! This year is the Dragon Year, and I am feeling all so stressed out because I am not finished! I have not much of idea to do the dragon's head! Argh! It's only at 5% of the card. Oh my God! I am so stressed about it, because I am going back home next Friday. Well, by hook or by crook, I am going to get it done.

Maybe I will post photos of my previous Chinese New Year cards. Is it good enough for me to quit my job and work as a card-maker? Drawing, and colouring makes me happy. I know, I sound like a 10 year old kid. Draw and colour? Hmmm. When I am done with the Dragon card, I will be sure to snap photos of all the Chinese New Year cards I make and post them! Looking at my handiwork really makes me happy. :-)

And for my next travelling post, I am going to post about Guilin, China which I went in February 2011, which was a few days after Chinese New Year last year. Boy, I felt so proud of myself going there, because I am what people call, a banana - yellow outside like a Chinese but white inside like a foreigner who can't speak Chinese!
